Question 04 of 7
Every human being chases happiness. But almost no one learns how it actually works: which needs have to be met, how to meet them, and why some choices feel good now but charge you pain later.
The Game's answer
Happiness is the feedback that your needs are being met in a healthy way. In The Soul Game, those needs show up as 7 frequencies: safety, pleasure, power, connection, expression, knowledge and meaning.
The framework
You don't need to erase your needs. You need to learn to meet them in a way that's good for you, good for others, good in the short run and good in the long run.
Something essential asks for attention: safety, pleasure, power, connection, expression, knowledge or meaning.
You try to meet that need through a positive path or a negative one.
The positive path builds sustainable happiness. The negative one buys a moment of relief and a future cost.
The 7 needs
Each frequency stands for a human need. When it's met in a healthy way, you feel well-being. When it's missing, or when it's met in a negative way, suffering shows up.
Survival, stability, material foundation.
Emotions, creativity, desire.
Autonomy, achievement, identity.
Love, empathy, bonds.
Communication, truth, creation.
Vision, knowledge, understanding.
Purpose, spirituality, transcendence.
Positive and negative forms
Safety can become stability or control. Pleasure can become creativity or addiction. Power can become leadership or domination. Happiness depends less on the need itself and more on how you try to meet it.
| Frequency | Need | Positive form | Negative form | Emotion it creates |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Root | Safety | Build financial stability, take care of your health, create a safe home, plan for the future. | Living in constant fear, hoarding wealth obsessively, controlling people. | Calm ↔ Anxiety |
| Sacral | Pleasure | Hobbies, art, sports, healthy sexuality, traveling, exploring life. | Addictions, compulsions, hypersexuality, drugs, constant escape from reality. | Excitement ↔ Boredom |
| Solar Plexus | Power | Develop skills, overcome challenges, build something meaningful, lead with responsibility. | Dominating people, manipulating, competing destructively, obsession with status. | Confidence ↔ Anger |
| Heart | Connection | Real friendships, healthy relationships, cooperation, empathy, helping. | Emotional dependency, using affection to manipulate, no boundaries, self-sacrifice. | Love ↔ Hurt |
| Throat | Expression | Speak the truth, communicate ideas, teach, create art and content. | Lying, spinning narratives, spreading hate, using communication to attack. | Freedom ↔ Frustration |
| Third Eye | Knowledge | Learn, study, reflect, understand the systems of life. | Intellectual arrogance, thinking you know it all, using knowledge to humiliate. | Clarity ↔ Confusion |
| Crown | Meaning | Healthy spirituality, a life purpose, connection to something greater. | Religious fanaticism, blind submission to authorities, escape from reality. | Peace ↔ Emptiness |
Happiness doesn't come from denying fear, desire, ambition, love, your voice, your mind or the search for meaning. It comes from turning each need into a positive form of movement.
The happiness gauge
The Soul Game doesn't just ask what you want. It asks how you're trying to meet what you want.
Meets the need without wrecking other areas of life. Creates peace, joy, satisfaction and sustainable growth.
Gives fast relief, but breeds dependency, accumulated cost, conflict, emptiness or a repeat of the same cycle.
How The Soul Game helps
Happiness doesn't depend on erasing every difficulty in life. It depends on learning to recognize your needs, understand how you're trying to meet them and choose paths that create growth instead of suffering.
You'll learn to name your needs, see how they're being met today and find healthier ways to satisfy them.
The diagnostic shows which frequencies are most out of balance at this point in your life, and which strategies can create positive movement.
